A semi-evergreen with leathery, dark green foliage which is resistant to leaf spot. Showy, pink buds open to flat-topped clusters of white blooms, followed by brilliant red-to-black fruit.

One of the few viburnum that will tolerate full shade. Viburnum is best grown in a medium, well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Prune soon after flowering so the next season's flower buds can form in summer.
